Glenn C. Campbell, M.D.
Dr. Campbell is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine. Included in his many honors, Dr. Campbell is a Diplomate, American Board of Ophthalmology and Fellow, American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Virginia Society of Ophthalmology, Medical Society of Virginia, and the Society of Military Ophthalmologists. He is a comprehensive general ophthalmologist with special expertise in laser vision correction, cataract surgery, and laser surgery for glaucoma. Dr. Campbell is married with one child. He enjoys collecting antiques and sailing. Juan A. Astruc, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Astruc's postgraduate training includes a residency in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia and a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Astruc is active in a variety of clinical research and has coauthored many publications and presentations. Mark K. Meadows, O.D.
Dr. Meadows is a member of the Virginia Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Contact Lens Society, and the Lions Club. Additionally, Dr. Meadows has lectured on numerous advanced optometric procedures and served as an Ellerbrock Instructor at the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Schultz has received many academic honors including Beta Sigma Kappa, 1993, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and the Dr. Leslie Mintz Scholarship in 1992, 1993. His extensive list of achievements include a Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry, Ocular Disease Section, as well as Clinical adjunct faculty instructor in Ocular Diseases for the University of Waterloo, College of Optometry, Ontario Canada, University of Alabama, Birmingham College of Optometry, Berkley College of Optometry in Berkeley, California, SUNY College of Optometry, New York, New York, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Philadelphia PA, Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, Tennessee and the University of Houston. Dr. Schultz was the Director of the Ocular Disease Residency Program and student education programs at Southern Eye Associates in Memphis ,TN from 2000-2004. He is published and has nearly 100 lectures to his credit on topics relating to ocular disease and surgical management.
Dr. Michaels has lectured internationally for the American Academy of Optometry on low vision rehabilitation, age-related macular degeneration, intraocular tumors, and driving with low vision. He is a Clinical Instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University and a Low Vision Examiner for the Commonwealth of Virginia. |
