Dr Schultz has been busy as a clinical educator specialized in ocular disease management and pre and post surgical care for seventeen years. He has been recognized by his peers by being inducted as a member into the American Academy of Optometry’s Ocular Disease Section, and has a reputation of being one of the national experts in the field of Ocular Disease. He has been invited to speak at various state organizations to large audiences of optometrists and other health care providers.

He was recently invited to speak at Optometry's Meeting in Orlando Florida on June 16th -19th , the national meeting of the American Optometric Association and The American Academy of Optometry on November 17^th -19^th where he will present a complex case of pituitary tumor. He has special interests and expertise in glaucoma, neuro-eye diseases, and anterior segment diseases of the eye. Here is an overview of Dr. Schultz’s activities over the last year.

On 10/28/09 Dr. Schultz delivered a lecture to the Coastal District Society, Greenville NC on New Paradigms in the Treatment of Ocular Surface Disease.

On 3/18/2010 Dr Schultz spoke on "Clinical Case Conundrums" difficult medical management of eye diseases and visual system disorders for Advanced Vision Institute at their Continuing Education Symposium.

On 4/15-17/ 2010 Gregory M. Schultz, OD, FAAO delivered a lecture to the Arkansas Optometric Convention on Neuro-Ophthalmic Disease and Neuro-Imaging at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock Arkansas.

On 4/28-30/ 2010 Dr Schultz addressed the Montana Optometric Association at their Annual Conference and spoke on a variety of topics including:

• What's New With Viral Eye Disease ?
• That's Not Glaucoma! Challenging Case Studies from a Referral Center
• Effective Use of Oral Pharmaceuticals in Primary Eye Care
• Ocular Urgencies and Emergencies: Proper Triage ( Para-optometric Program)
• Pupils for Paras ( Para-optometric Program)
• Worlds Best Para-Optometric History ( Para-optometric Program)

He gave a total of 10 hours of Continuing Education

On 6/16-19, /2010 Dr. Schultz spoke at Optometry’s Meeting of the American Optometric Association, on the topic of careful neurological assessment of pupil function. In the course :

July 16th-18th 2010 Dr Schultz was honored to be the Chairman for Virginia Optometric Association Coding Conference held at the Hilton Hotel Oceanfront , Virginia Beach , Va ; July 16th-18th , with Speaker David K. Talley, OD, FAAO

On 10/8-9/2010 Dr Schultz will be lecturing at the prestigious East West Eye Conference in Cleveland, OH on the topic of glaucoma including That's Not Glaucoma! Tales from the Referral Center and Glaucoma CoManagement 2010, an update on medical and surgical innovations for 2010. He will also speak on the topic of Neuroimaging for Primary Eye Care Providers

November 17- 19th . Dr Gregory Schultz will be presenting a complicated case of pituitary adenoma escalating to pituitary apoplexy to the American Academy of Optometry Ocular disease Section.
