Andrew R. Davis, M.D.

Motivated to better his patient’s quality of life through improving their vision, Dr. Andrew Rollin Davis completed a fellowship in Cornea, External, and Refractive Surgery at Duke University in Durham, NC.

This specialized training gives him expertise in refractive cataract surgery including the use of near vision correcting multifocal lenses (PanOptix, Symfony), astigmatism (Toric) correcting intraocular lenses, and laser cataract surgery.

In addition, Dr. Davis specializes in laser refractive surgery (Lasik, PRK), Corneal Cross-linking, and Corneal transplants (DMEK, DSAEK, PKP).

Dr. Davis was born and raised in Austin, TX. He obtained a BS in Physics with an emphasis in Optics from Colorado State University followed by attending medical school at Texas A&M University. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, and Ophthalmology Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where he acted as chief resident during his final year.

Dr. Davis is married with two children. He enjoys spending time outdoors, riding his bike, and enjoying his family. Dr. Davis is thrilled to be joining the Advanced Vision Institute family and looks forward to serving patients in the Williamsburg & Tidewater area.


Jeanne I. Ruff, O.D.

Dr. Jeanne I. Ruff is an Optometrist practicing primary eye care which involves prescribing glasses and

contact lenses, along with diagnosing and treating eye disease. Patients receive a comprehensive exam, including evaluation for diabetic and hypertensive retinopathies, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. Dr. Ruff encourages vision wellness and a patient’s best vision possible; she discusses diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure trust and understanding of patient eye care needs. Further, Dr. Ruff believes that communicating with her patients’ primary care providers is a vital part in maintaining continuity of care.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Ruff received both her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science and Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Her externship rotations included ocular disease, primary care, low vision, pediatric care, binocular vision/vision therapy, and contact lens prescription.

She has been practicing for 16 years. After nearly 10 years as a business owner and solo private practitioner in Williamsburg, Virginia, she joined Atlantic Vision Partners to focus her skills and attention on patient care – her true passion.

Dr. Ruff is a member of both the American and Virginia Optometric Associations. She can conduct eye exams in Spanish as well. Dr. Ruff is married and currently resides in Williamsburg, where she has been a resident for more than 13 years. Her hobbies include painting in different mediums, riding her Harley Davidson, traveling, and watching the Miami Dolphins.


Glenn Campbell, MD

Dr. Glenn Campbell completed his undergraduate studies at The College of William and Mary in Virginia, earning a B.S. in Chemistry with high honors. He completed his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and his internship and ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Campbell is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine. Included in his many honors, Dr. Campbell is a Diplomate, American Board of Ophthalmology and Fellow, American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, VSEPS (Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons), Medical Society of Virginia, and the Society of Military Ophthalmologists. Dr. Campbell is also a member of the ACOS (American College of Ophthalmic Surgery). He is a comprehensive general ophthalmologist with special expertise in laser vision correction, cataract surgery, and laser surgery for glaucoma.

Dr. Campbell enjoys spending time with his wife Dr. Anh Campbell and their son. When he is not enjoying time with his family he is collecting antiques and sailing.

 


Stacey Carabello, O.D.

Dr. Carabello received her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in Genetics and her Optometry Degree from Southern California College of Optometry.

She practiced in Southeast Iowa for five years before moving to Virginia where she calls home. Dr. Carabello has a passion for comprehensive Optometry, the treatment of Ocular diseases, and multi-specialty Optometry.

In her free time Dr. Carabello enjoy traveling, learning to golf and hanging with friends, family and her dog.

We are extremely excited to welcome Dr. Carabello to our practice and community and welcome her to Advanced Vision Institute.
